Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Description

As an adult adoptee and clinical social worker, I understand the importance of being able to personally connect with others whose adopiton expeirence may have been different than but can understand in a way others could not. This group will be a safe and open space to share, feel and express what is needed, where you feel stuck and where you feel alone in your adoption journey. Being adoption comes with a mixture of emotions, unresolvd issues and questions. And as I know it can impact how you allow the world to view and see you, affect your relationships with others, but more importanly with yourself.

As the faciliator of the group, I will be there to support, hold a safe and nuturing safe for the group to organtically develop in a way that gives each person indiviudally and as group what they need and hope to get from the group. If you group members need more individual support, I can provide individual sessions.

This will be a private, confidental group. This is a free group, I will connect with each person individually before the group starts to talk with you more about the group. I will run on a ongoing monthly basis. The group is for 18 years and older.

We will meet the last Sunday of the month 7pm-8:30pm
