Description

Saturday, November 11th (Veteran's Day) all California National Guard Soldiers and Airmen, and their immediate families (with ID) will receive free admission to the San Francisco Zoo and Gardens.

Free bus transportation (AKA "party bus") is available from Joint Forces Headquarters (9800 Goethe Rd, Sacramento, CA 95827) as well as the 49th MP Headquarters, 510 Parker Road, Fairfield, CA 94533. The bus will leave from JFHQ at 8:00 AM and will proceed to Fairfield for 2nd stop. Pick up in Fairfield will be 9:15 AM. Free drinks and snacks will be provided on the bus, as well as a goodie bag for children.

ONLY REGISTER IN EVENT BRITE IF YOU ARE RIDING THE BUS.

The bus will leave from the SF Zoo at 3:30.

Are there ID or minimum or maximum age requirements to enter the event?

There is no minimum or or maximum age requirement. However, children under age 18 must be accompanied on the bus by a parent or guardian. Grandparents are welcome to accompany military families as well, but may have to pay for admission into the zoo.

What can I bring into the event?

Bring your military ID to get free admission to zoo. Bus riders are welcome to bring their own snacks and drinks if riding the bus, but outside food and drinks may not be allowed into the zoo.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

REGISTER IN EVENT BRITE ONLY IS YOU ARE RIDING THE BUS....all individuals riding need to be registered. (ie, if there are 4 people in your family riding the bus, register for 4 tickets.) A printed ticket is not required for the bus ride. A list of registrants will be available.
