Event Information

Event description

Workshops are free, open to the public and identical in content. The food/hunger program workshop is hosted by the Montgomery County Food Council. The immigrant services workshop is hosted with the Gilchrist Immigrant Resource Center.

Representatives from the County Executive, County Council and Health and Human Services will be presenting important information on how non-profit organizations serving County residents can apply for grant funding.

Previous Community Grants awardees and new applicants are highly encouraged to attend one general information workshop. Organizations that have food/hunger programs or provide immigrant services are highly encouraged to attend topic-specifc workshops.

Please RSVP for each individual that will be attending from your non-profit organization so we can anticipate room capacity.
