About this event

Montgomery Connects is a Montgomery County program to loan 50,000 Chromebook computers to Montgomery County residents who do not have access to a computer. Use this Eventbrite form to make an appointment. Questions marked with an asterisk (*) must be answered. If the event shows “Sold Out,” is means all the appointment ticket have been taken. Visit www.montgomerycountymd.gov/computer on Sundays at 2pm for more appointments.

• YOU MUST BE A MONTGOMERY COUNTY RESIDENT AT LEAST 7 YEARS OLD to receive a computer. You do not need to be a U.S. Citizen. Limit one computer per person through the end of the program.

• EVERY PERSON RECEIVING A COMPUTER MUST HAVE AN EVENTBRITE REGISTRATION. (If 3 people in the household are receiving computers, there must be 3 Eventbrite appointments). Bring the Eventbrite email receipt on your phone or printed out to your appointment.

• EVERY PERSON WITH AN APPOINTMENT, INCLUDING CHILDREN, MUST APPEAR IN PERSON WITH PHOTO ID to pick-up the computer at your appointment. Passports, Driver’s Licenses, State IDs, school or work ID, or similar photo ID can be used. Bring a piece of mail addressed to you if your ID does not have an address. Children can use report cards with an address that matches their parent’s ID.

• YOU MUST HAVE (1) A MONTGOMERY COUNTY LIBRARY CARD, (2) AN EMAIL ADDRESS, AND (3) A PHONE NUMBER to make an appointment. Parents can use their email and phone for children.

YOU MUST COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION FORM IN 30 MINUTES. Check your email for an email from Eventbrite. This is proof you have an appointment to receive a computer.

In the Home Address section, type your street address in the “Address 1”, for example, “11111 Georgia Ave” and if you have one, type your apartment number in “Address 2”, for example, “Apt. 101”. The County asks most questions for informational purposes, but you must answer all questions marked with an asterisk (*) to complete the registration.

If you need assistance in ASL, auxiliary aids, or in languages other than English, Spanish, or Amharic and the County will make reasonable accommodations or schedule a specific pick-up for you. Contact us at MontgomeryConnects@montgomerycountymd.gov after you have made an appointment for special accommodations, or if you do not have an address.
