Catherine McTamaney is an award-winning educator, author, and Professor of the Practice of Teacher Education at Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College. Dr. McTamaney has written several books on education and teaching, including The Tao of Montessori, A Delicate Task: Living, Learning and Teaching on a Montessori Path, and Only Poets and Little Children. She also hosts Montessori Daoshi, a free online resource for parents, teachers, and schools. Catherine is the proud daughter of a St. Nicholas–trained Montessori teacher.
