Monoprint and Gel printing with Sarah Barzmehri

Using acrylic paint on glass and gel plates, participants will create expressive prints in both black & white and color. Drawing inspiration from abstract expressionist artists, the process encourages accessing the subconscious and embracing spontaneity. The workshop emphasizes the creative journey and the joy of unexpected outcomes. Participants will have the opportunity to experiment with diverse techniques, materials, and sources of inspiration, making each print unique.

About Sarah
Sarah S Barzmehri studied fine arts at the renowned art school in Paris, France (Ècole Supérieure des Beaux Arts de Paris), and Graphic Design at University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). She’s an accomplished artist, curator and educator. She has been teaching adults and children for more than a decade, encouraging a free-spirited approach to creating from the unconscious.
