You are invited to the kick off of Money Smart Week 2019!

Join the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago for a breakfast featuring keynote speaker Harold Pollack, University of Chicago professor and co-author of The Index Card: Why Personal Finance Doesn’t Have to be Complicated. He will explain how to help consumers simplify managing their money. All attendees will recieve a signed copy of Harold Pollack's book.

Meina Banh, Policy Advisor for the Office of Financial Education at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, will provide insight into financial literacy and introduce the winners of the Money Smart Kid essay contest.

This event convenes Money Smart Week Partners from Illinois and surrounding areas as well as financial educators from government, nonprofits, media, academia and the financial services industry.

8:30 - 9:00 AM Breakfast

9:00 AM Program begins

Event capacity: 200 attendees (overflow space available)

Note: All attendees must register by Tuesday, March 26th and present a valid government issued photo ID upon arrival for entry to this event.
