Money Smart Fempreneur Summit 2017
Thu, April 27, 2017, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM EDT
PRE-REGISTRATION FOR THE 2017 FEMPRENEUR SUMMIT IS CLOSED. WALK-IN REGISTRATION IS AVAILABLE FOR $20 AT THE DOOR, PAYABLE WITH CASH ONLY.
Participants will enjoy a day of inspiration, relationship-building and tips for building your SELF and your BUSINESS, with access to more than 15 panelists, a robust Resource Marketplace and women like you, striving to thrive in 2017!
While there are several incubators, start-up support organizations, small business supporters and advisers out there, many focus their offerings and services on businesses that plan to build something that can grow exponentially and eventually be sold for a lot of money. However, many female entrepreneurs start businesses with different goals in mind than building an empire. They start their companies so they can have the freedom, flexibility and fulfillment they need while keeping their families as a top priority. The support, mentoring, collaborating and advising that these female entrepreneurs need is much harder to find when they don't fit into the traditional "startup" or "entrepreneur" molds.
That's why the Michigan Money Smart Week Fempreneur Summit was created!
Interactive discussions will include:
"Keeping It Real: The Balancing Act of Juggling Personal and Professional Priorities". Join Beki Fraser, Jessica Ping, Elizabeth Sisk, and Robin Kinnie for "real talk" about keeping all your plates spinning, while taking care of yourself, being re-energized and getting centered.
"The Unsexy Side of Business: Biz Structure, Financing, Cash Flow, Accounting and Resources". Join Debbie Krone, Cheryl Skynar, Constance Logan and Lysa Davis for a discussion about the often neglected yet crucial aspects of long-term business success. And, yes, we'll have some fun with it!
"What's Your Story?: Communications, Marketing, Social and Traditional Media Tips and Tricks". Join Heather Doering, Dorothy Twinney, Kristin Schenden, Jan Bills and Kelly Masters to explore ways to tell your business story with very real and do-it-now guidance on getting started ... or going to the next level.
