EXPERT BIOS

Irma Neal
Partner & Certified Financial Coach
I’ve been truly fortunate to have had a stellar career of diverse opportunities with government, very large corporations, and very small companies. Born in Indianapolis, I had the opportunity to be Deputy Mayor of my hometown. I learned more about my hometown while in this position than I did living here my entire life!

I started my career at an entry-level job in local government and rose rapidly through the ranks to Administrator of the agency with over 110 employees. An opportunity arose for me to move from my hometown of Indianapolis to Washington, DC. where I lived for over eight years.

After several years in Corporate America, I started a woman-owned consulting business with three long time friends. This business grew and prospered for over five years when, due to the failing health of one of the partners, we decided to sell. At the time of the sale, our company employed nearly 300 employees in fifteen states. Through it all, financial discipline and budget controls have been the foundation of my personal and career success.

After a very touching experience when conducting a financial literacy seminar for my church, I decided to help others full time and completed the Dave Ramsey Master Series Financial Coach training and became a certified financial coach. My goal is to help young professionals, single parents, and those who have suffered financial trauma recover and live a debt free and prosperous life.

Kelli McMiller
Partner & Financial Coach
I have had a successful career of more than two decades in the areas of diversity and inclusion, Human Resources, Marketing and Public Relations.

I’ve been a consultant, entrepreneur, coach, leader, facilitator, change agent, community activist, and ambassador to local and national groups. I am also a former partner of Infinite, Inc., a multi-service marketing firm. My passion to empower others to improve their situation has been the main stay throughout my career.

During my time in Corporate America, I’ve led major initiatives, managed large clients and processes as well as budgets in excess of $3 Million. I have worked at both small businesses and large Fortune 500 companies which have given me a broad perspective and the fundamentals to create the infrastructure required for real change.

In my personal life, I have had to reinvent myself after several major life changes which greatly impacted my finances. As a result of these experiences, along with my tenacity and perseverance, I stand as a living testimony on how financial discipline can make a difference.

I am a proud wife and mother with a strong connection to my extended family and it is because of them that I feel it so important to help others leave a financial legacy.

As a Partner at Onyx Rising Financial Services, I provide financial coaching and practical advice for clients with a desire for change.
