Description

In a world of business alight with start-ups led by innovative, globally minded problem solvers, many leaders are searching for often-elusive answers on how to drive a profit without losing mission and soul.

Join financial and philanthropic mastermind Lynne Twist and 1440 cofounder and Silicon Valley veteran Scott Kriens for an evening of candid, current discussion – moderated by venture capitalist and impact investor Marc van den Berg – on the interplay between dollars and sense in the business world.

Find answers to:

  • What are the milestones for measurement in this brave new world?
  • What are the deepest challenges to mission-driven business?
  • How can we fuel and support the leading edge of entrepreneurship for greatest impact?

Lynne Twist is the author of the best-selling The Soul of Money, which examines our attitudes towards money and offers compelling insight into the essence of prosperity. Founder of the Soul of Money Institute, Lynne has worked with over 100,000 people in 50 countries in areas including conscious philanthropy, strategic visioning, and creating a healthy relationship with money.

Scott Kriens, chairman and former CEO of Juniper Networks, has been in the technology industry for more than 35 years. During Scott’s tenure at Juniper, the company grew to more than 10,000 employees in more than 100 countries worldwide and had $4 billion in revenue. Passionate about authenticity in relationships and leadership, Scott and his wife, Joanie, founded 1440 Foundation in 2010 and 1440 Multiversity in 2017.

Marc van den Berg is a Partner at DBL Partners, which uses venture capital to accelerate innovation in a way that positively affects an organization’s social impact, as well as its financial success.
