This free weekly fiction workshop focuses on narrative technique, language, characterization, plot, POV, and the realization of an idea. Bring copies of 2-3 pages of fiction for critique and discussion.

Barra has written four produced screenplays, and has won the Writers Guild Award, an Emmy, and has received Directors Guild and Humanitas nominations. Her play “A Mother A Daughter and a Gun” has been produced in L.A., Chicago and New York. She has a repertoire of short stories which she regularly performs at venues in Los Angeles.
