What better way to kick off our Monday night beer dinners than with Monday Night beer! Now that we're closed on Mondays we can do fun things like Beer Dinners & Wine Tastings that accommodate more people. The Dinner will be held in our dining area, and since we are closed to the public that day there won't be any house music or loud patrons to talk over. So buy your ticket and get ready for a great dinner! Monday never looked so good.
Beer list has arrived! While we love Monday Night's regular line up (Mmmm Drafty Kilt...) We'll only have Clip-on & Black Tie brews at this dinner!
First up is-
A crisp IPA with a touch of pepper. A happy accident led us to try infusing our Eye Patch Ale with fresh Serrano peppers. We wanted to share this deliciousness with you. Serrano Eye Patch has all the crisp, clean characteristics of an IPA, with a great pepper aroma and a touch of heat to cut the bitterness on the back end. If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the brewery.
After you've tried the refreshing-fiery taste of that we'll bring on our second course featuring Black Tie beer-
When was the last time you hit the gym? Do you even lift, bro? This is a beer you need to work for. A rich gold in color, like the weightlifting medal you wished you’d won, this spicy Belgian-style golden ale has been infused with pears. Be warned – the residual sugars, while deliciously reminiscent of fresh honey, mean that you should only drink this beer on your cheat day. So get back to the gym and work for it, bro. I bet I can bench more than you. Let’s go.
After you've shown off your guns (and drank all of your Gun Show) you can release your inner animal with Black Tie beer-
Inside every well-made beer is an animal that represents it. A spirit animal, if you will. Crouching below the surface, hidden in the bubbles, prowling in the tang of the yeast of Spirit Animal, is a wolf. Wild and untamed, this sour ale echoes a time when beer was fermented in the open air under the moonlight.
Spirit Animal is aged on toasted French oak and rose hips.
This wolf is hungry, and he’s preying on your taste buds. Prepare to be smote. Smited. Smitten. Whatever.
Now that you've found your inner self, you might need to fix that hair of yours with Black Tie beer-
That tousled, frizzy hairstyle isn’t fooling anyone. You woke up, threw on some clothes, and headed out the door. Your coworkers stare at your bed head and snicker. But you embrace it, grinning smugly as you sip on your morning coffee.
Unfortunately, we don’t make coffee, we make beer. So we turned to our local coffee roaster, Batdorf & Bronson, to roast us up something special. A limited batch of Tanzania peaberry, an earthy, single estate coffee that is the perfect match for a veritable mound of hops. Coffee isn’t just for breakfast. And beer isn’t just for non-breakfast. Wear that bed head proudly.
After you've got you buzz on, it's time to tie four on with the Black Tie beer-
Tie Four On:
Happy freakin' birthday to us! Bring on the endless wall posts, co-worker sing-alongs, and gift cards from Grandma. Thanks to your alleged "craft beer hobby" we've made it to the ripe old age of four. You know what? YOU deserve a present - a big delicious Quad aged on oak. This Belgian-style beauty is full bodies (like your mother), sweet (unlike your mother) and aged on American oak. The oak gifts this 11% behemoth of an ale with layers of caramel and vanilla tones. Happy freakin' birthday.
Lastly we present you with a surprise 6th course! A special cask that Battle & Brew and Monday Night worked on together-
Twig and Berries:
We started with classic Drafty Kilt Scotch ale
A roasty scotch ale with a hint of smoke. Full-bodied, but not overpowering. Smokey, but not in a creepy bar kind of way. Sweet, but not obnoxiously so. Sound like your ideal mother-in-law? Fair enough, but it also is a pretty dead-on description of our Scotch Ale. In a difficult hop-growing climate, Scottish brewers relied on other ingredients to impart flavor and bitterness – one such ingredient was smoked malt. Drafty Kilt is a dark, malty bombshell of a beer.
and added in luxardo cherries, American oak chips and dark chocolate. You will only be able to have this beer here!

When & Where
Battle & Brew
Battle & Brew is Atlanta’s first Game Bar. Opened in 2005, Battle & Brew had a very modest menu, a few beer taps, and focused heavily on gaming. Now we have grown to encompass so much more. We pioneered Geek Trivia in Atlanta, and remain the hardest trivia in town. We have upgraded the menu from only a few items to all your bar favorites and some soon-to-be favorites. We’ve expanded the gaming and keep everything top of the line. We’ve taken our great place and made it your great place. A place where the staff listens to your desires and suggestions. A place where you and your friends feel like you’re at home. A place where everyone knows your game™.
