Description
We have chosen to focus on science as a specialty because we know that science is the subject area that is by far the biggest of any in the curriculum; and affecting our lives the most.
We chose science because it means “knowledge” and the process of science is about learning how things work, asking questions, looking for proof and solving problems.
Science and technology is what contributes most to the economic wealth of nations and the foundation of power.
All areas of knowledge, except religion, use the scientific method to investigate, research and advance their fields.
When children learn to do science (how things work in the world) they are better able to: ask questions make decisions, solve problems and do their jobs as: mechanics, teachers, gardeners, nurses, architects, contractors, musicians, cooks, artists, journalists/writers, leaders, manufactures and many other fields.
