Anne Lynch is an experienced library professional, skilled in organizing and analyzing information. Currently the administrative assistant at the Weston Public Library in Weston, MA, she is also engaged in outreach activities with her library community, including co-leading a book discussion group, outreach activities to local senior living communities, and reference desk coverage. In the past, she has worked in various library roles at an international law firm, a law school, a divinity school, a university, and a nonprofit organization. Known for being engaged and persistent, she rolls up her sleeves, working both independently and as part of a team, to move projects along from idea to successful completion.
Before becoming a librarian, she learned much of her work ethic and business savvy working in food service, retail, and business systems analysis roles, in a number of cities and states. Moving between roles and locations taught her to be flexible and adaptable. She is always eager to both share knowledge and learn from others, which eventually led her to the library profession.
Outside of work, she has a passion and experience for caring for elders, people with Alzheimer’s disease, and people in hospice. You will also find her behind her camera lens, seeking to learn more about the art and craft of photography, while sharing the beauty she finds in the ordinary.
Dr. Shilpa Sen is an Environmental Scientist with HDR at their Boston office. She specializes in transportation-related environmental permitting, agency coordination, citizen science, natural resource management, wetland function and value assessment, and wildlife habitat assessment. Shilpa is actively involved in several organizations (WTS-Boston, Cheeky Scientist, Earthwise Aware, to name a few) in different capacities. Being born and raised in India, Shilpa is a passionate advocate for women in STEM. She continually works toward prioritizing inclusion, diversity, and equity and actively volunteer her time in local and virtual communities. She spends her free time exploring parks and museums or just enjoying the company of friends and family.
