Event description

Description

Join us for a BRUNCH Jamboree!

A Jam Program Jamboree is a place for ladies to be brave. Let's network, befriend, and support one another to reach our full potential. Let's build a modern village. Ticket price includes brunch, coffee, drinks, and networking opportunities with a badass group of ladies that live, play, volunteer, and work in your neighborhood.

Our co-hosts are activist Kate Martin and leaders of the Hartford Chapter of Moms Demand Action. Founded in the aftermath of the Sandy Hook tragedy, Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America is a non-partisan grassroots movement of Americans fighting for public safety measures that can protect people from gun violence. At the state and federal level, Moms Demand Action is fighting against the NRA leadership’s extremist “guns-everywhere” agenda and is campaigning for common-sense solutions to lax gun laws and loopholes that jeopardize the safety of our children, families and communities. Moms Demand Action is part of Everytown for Gun Safety, the largest gun violence prevention organization in the country, with over 5 million supporters nationwide. Join us in the fight, and learn more about their work in our community.

FAQs

What should I bring?

Ideas, struggles, hustles, failures, stories, a positive attitude, a sense of humor, an open mind, successes, needs, and insecurities.....just come as you are.

Can I bring a friend? Or my mom?

Yes, great idea! Buy her a ticket, or send her this event link.

What do we do at a Jamboree?

Meet new ladies and re-connect with people you already know. Share what you need help with personally (i.e. interior design advice, personal organizer, babysitter, marital support) and professionally (i.e, resume writing help, personal coach, public speaking practice). We'll share how we can support each other, no pressure or strings attached. And we eat, drink, and laugh.

Hmm, I'm kind of intrigued. Tell me more.

"This was the least pretentious, most pro-woman, networking event I have ever been to." - Caroline

"I admit, I was skeptical and nervous that the Jamboree was going to be work, but it was a blast, just women talking and supporting one another." - Michelle

Jamborees have netted Jamborettes a wedding planner, a job interview (then the job offer), previously-loved skis, piano lessons, and friendships, among others.

Age requirements?

21 - absolutely no limit!

Can I contact the organizer with questions?

E-mail shawna@jamprogram.com or text to 860-830-4192

What's the refund policy?

If you cannot attend due to personal reasons, you can gift your ticket to a friend or use it for a future Jamboree.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, you do not. We got you.
