The 2022 CMTRA Conference will be held in the Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, WA. We welcome you to join us in July over the 17- 21, 2022!

About this event

The CMTRA (Cancer Molecular Therapeutics Research Association) meeting will provide a highly interactive forum for the presentation and discussion of novel drugs, drug targets, and the preclinical and clinical development of novel cancer therapeutics. The informality of the meeting venue, coupled with the tradition of lively and extensive discussion of unpublished data, provides a unique opportunity for interaction between individuals from academia, industry, and the clinical arena. Many novel ideas are given their first public presentation in this forum, facilitating valuable insights from the audience to further advance the therapeutic strategy. The meeting also provides an outstanding forum for the training of future leaders in this important field.

This has been a long-standing conference at the forefront of cancer treatment. CMTRA took over the organization of this conference in 2008 and has continued this very successful series of annual meetings. These conferences generally alternate between the East and West coast, or the central USA, to provide increased access to scientists and clinicians nationwide. These conferences are attended by ~100-120 investigators and trainees. The programs of the previous meetings can be viewed at www.cancermoleculartherapeutics.org.

The conference will bring together 22 speakers and discussion leaders, each of whom is well recognized as being at the forefront of his or her scientific discipline. In addition, all participants will further contribute to the dissemination of recent findings and the generation of new ideas leading to the discovery and development of novel therapies. This meeting will continue the trend of addressing new ideas and issues at the forefront of cancer therapy.

The Learning Objectives for the conference are as follows:

  • Utilizing combination therapies to improve immune-oncology response
  • Review emerging therapies targeting PI3K
  • Update on RAS targeting
  • Review advances in Antibody-Drug Conjugates and their impact in the clinic
  • Review current and developing targets in breast cancer
