Event description
Explore two of Nashville's new housing ideas embracing modular technologies in design, construction and delivery.

About this Event

This tour and panel discussion will explore two Nashville projects that have embraced modular technologies in design, construction and delivery.

Alloy is an 82-unit condominium project and Nashville’s first prefabricated, modular multi-family project. Built in Pennsylvania and erected in Nashville’s Tech Hill neighborhood, it consists of two structures connected with exposed steel walkways.

Bento Living Chestnut Hill is a mixed-use development offering flex-stay residential units, communal spaces, food and beverage outlets and a marketplace. Bento is driven by smart, responsible design and understands the importance of flexibility, simplicity and convenience. The Chestnut Hill property offers modern, fully-furnished units that are designed with today's customer in mind, offering flexible leasing terms, full service and amenity-rich experiences. Each unit is outfitted with BentoBuild's modular casework system that offers simple solutions for every space, including kitchens, media walls, bathrooms, offices and retail. The property also features a free-standing, prefabricated car storage system which was designed, fabricated and constructed by CityLift.

While the main property is due to open in December 2019, B1281, Bento's Hawaiian-style bar and eatery, opened this summer. The space features a patio bar and food truck serving Hawaiian cuisine and cocktails with a modern flair, a fully-equipped outdoor stage for live entertainment and one-of-a-kind murals.
