Event description

Humble Burger proudly presents Modest Music Fest 2018, featuring live performances by Bay Area rapper Lil B "The BasedGod," Doug Martsch of indie rock gods Built To Spill, and more than 50 other incredible bands and artists at eight different venues in downtown Moscow on September 29th & 30th!

TWO-DAY FESTIVAL WRISTBANDS are still available for just $45. The weekend wristband is THE WAY to see all the music at the festival.

We're continuing our mission to bring Moscow and Pullman the most diverse musical lineup possible. Check out the full concert schedule below and stay tuned for announcements and festival news by following us on Facebook!

Humble Burger is dedicated to the music and art made right here in our community. We've absolutely loved hosting dozens of bands since we opened our restaurant in 2015, and want to continue to do our small part to grow the music scene on the Palouse. Now we want to share our music community with the broader world. Modest Music Fest is the next step on the path to placing this incredible place on the Northwest music map.

This festival aims to provide a bigger stage for our talented local bands who we believe all deserve as much support as we can give them, and to continue building a strong, vibrant, and diverse music community in our hometown. To accomplish this, we're bringing some of our favorite bands and musicians from around the Northwest to the Palouse to star alongside our hometown heroes. Representing genres ranging from indie rock, folk/Americana, synth-pop, electronic, punk, and hip hop there's something for everyone! Here is our lineup for ModFest 2018:

Here is the official schedule for ModFest 2018!

MMF2018 Schedule

TWO-DAY FESTIVAL WRISTBANDS are good for all shows on both September 29th & 30th for just $45*. Due to the excitement around Lil B's appearance, we are releasing a limited number of $30 tickets that are only good for "The BasedGod's" show on Sunday night. Those are available online.

We understand some folks also only want to see one or two other bands throughout the festival, so we will also have a limited number of a la carte tickets available at the door for individual shows. A la carte tickets are priced as follows:

Saturday night door ticket: $10

Sunday door ticket: $15

Headliner door tickets (Lil B or Doug Martsch shows): $30

Again, there will only be a limited number of these tickets at each venue. Besides the Lil B tickets for sunday, door tickets will only be available at the door for specific shows. Each ticket purchased at the door of a show is only good for that specific show. That's one of the reasons the weekend wristband is the best option and the way to see as many of our incredible artists as possible!

*The prices listed above do not include ticketing fees and taxes. There is an additional fee for online sales. PLEASE NOTE: Physical wristbands will be available for pick up from 11AM-11PM on Saturday, September 29th and 11AM-7PM on Sunday, September 30th at the Humble Burger Box Office (102 N Main Street). All attendees must be present with a valid ID when redeeming wristbands.

NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY: Humble Burger loves our neighbors—all of our neighbors—and Modest Music Fest an extension of that ideal. We want to again pledge 10% of any music festival profits to the Latah Recovery Center to help them continue the vital work they do in our community. We would also like to make it explicitly clear that we want our music festival to bring different folks together around some fantastic live music regardless of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, etc. Humble Burger and Modest Music Fest will not accept discrimination against anyone for any reason. Let's love our neighbors and be kind to each other and celebrate great art together.

Is there an age limit for the festival?

Humble Burger's Modest Music Fest is totally all ages. Our goal is to bring great music to Moscow that's accessible to everyone. That being said, some of our artists perform music that may not be considered suitable for kids. And while we do not ask our artists to censor their art, we are sensitive to the fact that parents may want to protect their children's ears. Please check out the music before taking children to the show!

Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
