Modern Make Do and Mend! - Learn simple clothing alterations
Refashion your Wardrobe - Upcycle your clothes and transform your tired and ill fitting clothes
This session is suitable for stitchers that can already use a sewing machine and covers alteration and Upcycling techniques. If you’re not comfortable using a sewing machine, try our half day beginner class.
- Bring along a couple of garment that don't fit, need mending or that could do with a transformation. Our stitching guru will guide you through some clever tips and tricks.
- Includes short demos on common alterations including shortening/lengthening; taking in/letting out; adding darts/shaping
- Save money by learning how to do the jobs you pay your dry-cleaner for
- Got a great pair of jeans that need shortening? Learn our sneaky jean trick and retain the original look of the hem
You must be able to already use a sewing machine before attending this class. If Not then book onto our "Learn to sew- beginner class"
Unlimited tea, coffee and biscuits provided.

We offer small sized, friendly sewing classes and courses in Stoke Newington North London.
