The Celtic Cultural Alliance Presents A Cultural Enrichment Experience:

Modern Irish History and Song a Series by Gerry Timlin

Gerry Timlin 

Gerry Timlin of Timlin and Kane, one of the most popular entertainers at the Celtic Classic for more than 20 years, will be hosting this cultural experience. Gerry was born and raised in Northern Ireland and will be sharing history, personal experiences, and changes he has seen over the years; including, educational opportunities, employment changes, and expansion of tourism. The series will be starting with the 15th century and the Great Famine through the Peace Process of the 1990 and Ireland today; you will be immersed in music, poetry, and history for a truly Celtic experience.

 

The lecture series will be held in McCarthy’s Great Room, located on the 2nd floor of Donegal Square in Bethlehem, PA. Enjoy a pint from McCarthy’s Pub while taking in the history of Ireland.

 

Enjoy 6 classes (outlined below) beginning on February 5, 2014 at 7:00pm. The classes will be 2 hours in length. Please note there will be no class on February 19th.
