Come kids, young and old, and build your own model rocket! You can bring your own kit or cover the cost from a bulk purchase.

Open to kids 6 and older. By library policy, children under 13 require a parent/adult to stay with them.

The models I have available are Estes rockets, easy to assemble (measuring and gluing, some cutting).

I am holding 2 sessions on the same day to keep the class size in each down. The sessions are the same; pick one.

The rocket launch will be on a separate day at a different location, under the supervision of Dallas Area Rocket Society.

Please stay in the designated class area. There is a lot of cool stuff at The Maker Spot. You can talk to staff and schedule a tour outside the event to learn more about it, including how you can use the space.
