Join Rhett and Christy of Boise's Genki Takoyaki for an experimental evening of mochi making! Mochi are traditional Japanese sweet, sticky rice cakes that are filled with a variety of flavors. Participants will have the chance to make their own mochi and get creative with fillings and toppings while learning the basics of preparation and flavor combinations. Participants will have recipes to take home, as well as a few mochi of their own! Beverages available for purchase. Ages 13 and up. Registration ends June 27th.
When: Thursday, June 29th from 6:30-8PM.
Where: JUMP Share Studio, located in the lobby.
What to Expect: Please bring valid ID for beer/wine purchase.
Rhett Atagi has been a working sushi chef across Boise over the past ten years. After living in Japan with Christy Beavers they started Genki Takoyaki, a Japanese dumpling food cart. Since 2015 they have expanded the scope of the business bringing a variety of Japanese street food to the Treasure Valley.
What inspires you?
"We are inspired by great food and people dedicated to their craft. The opportunity to travel has always been an exciting source of motivation as well. Of course we can't leave out the constant inspiration that we get from our darling baby boy Rio Archibald!"
What is JUMP?

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
You may bus, bike, drive, walk, skip, etcetera. Check Boise's bus schedule at valleyride.org. We love bikers and have beautiful bike racks to secure your ride throughout the facility. Apologies, but the JUMP parking garage is still under construction at the moment. However, the on-site Simplot Headquarter's paid parking below ground is available and accessible on Myrtle St. between 11th St. and 9th St. ADA parking available onsite, please email requests to email@example.com.

What is the refund policy?
We depend on your enrollment for a successful class so please plan your schedule carefully. Classes which do not meet minimum enrollment are subject to cancellation. Refunds are issued in full if the class or program is cancelled, if you cancel at least seven days before the starting date of the class, or for documented medical reasons. Please email email@example.com to request a refund.
