Broaden your knowledge and enhance your strategies on mobilization and advocacy in conservation.

About this event

Community and collaboration have proven to be key components in the success of conservation efforts. Also critical to this undertaking are mobilization and advocacy, acting as a bonding agent that helps to create a strong tripartite of Cs, Community, Collaboration and Conservation.

Whether your aim is to influence leaders and decision makers, target various stakeholders that are key to your work or even to secure community-based support, you cannot overlook the significance of advocacy and mobilization in furthering conservation efforts.

Join WWF Panda Labs Kenya and Amani Institute on 30th September 2021 from 3PM to 5PM,for an inspiring session that will explore how advocacy and mobilization have been used to drive impact. The conversation will feature a knowledge section that will:

  • Define advocacy and mobilization in the context of conservation while drawing parallels between the two.
  • Give an overview on why the two approaches are important to conservation work
  • Give examples of tools and approaches that make for successful advocacy and mobilization

Through this session you will:

  • Understand the landscape and applicable tools and approaches that work in driving advocacy and mobilization
  • Understand the need to underline the bottom line - conservation impact - therefore better showcase the impact of the work.
  • Get inspiration to adopt similar approaches in your conservation work
