This is the repeat session of the fifth webinar in the home fortification series, coordinated by UNICEF and CDC in collaboration with HF-TAG. Dr. Jonathan Siekmann will present on the International Code of Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes and how it relates to MNP. He will cover several broad topics:

1. The distinction of MNP from food and breastmilk substitutes

2. The impact of linking MNP to the restrictions placed on breastmilk substitutes by the Code, which can greatly affect a range of things from the kinds of images and promotional messages used to the local product name and packaging

3. Registration of MNP and related considerations and consequences of different categories of registration
