Event description

Description

The Tribal Cultural Partnership Project (TCPP) is a united initiative, led by Minnesota Tribal Nations, to increase understanding of native culture, history, and traditions as well as facilitating a productive dialog between tribes and the broader public safety field on current issues and concerns. Illustrating the tribal perspective on emergency management via a workshop format will help attendees better understand past experiences and help us prepare for future ones through the building of partnerships, trust, and knowledge.

The primary speaker for this event will be Anton Treuer, (http://antontreuer.com/), Anton Treuer (pronounced troy-er) is Professor of Ojibwe at Bemidji State University and author of 14 books. His equity, education, and cultural work has put him on a path of service around the region, the nation, and the world. We are that Anton will be facilitating this event and guiding our discussions!
