About this event
Cambridge Italian Studies invites you to attend the MMLL (Italian)/HML History and Modern Languages (Italian) Degree Masterclass for students taking place on Tuesday 25 April 2023 in the Nihon Room, at Pembroke College, Cambridge.
This event will provide the opportunity to discover what is on offer for the Degree in Modern Languages and History at Cambridge, with a special focus on Italian.
This subject specific, interactive Masterclass is suitable for Year 11/12 school students who are considering applying for a degree in Modern Languages and/or History, with the opportunity to start a language from scratch.
The Italian peninsula is one of the pivotal centres in the history of the West. Studying the languages and cultures of Italy alongside another language (MMLL Tripos) or in combination with the History degree programme (HML Tripos), offers a great opportunity to engage with understanding the past and present in international contexts, as well as exploring one of the most vibrant European nations of today.
The Masterclass will offer a range of sessions on Italian culture, history and will include a language taster, showcasing the exciting opportunity to explore the Italian culture, language and history.
The event is free.
Please note that the tickets are for students only and not accompanying adults (one adult may accompany each student without registering).
