About this event

This workshop goes beyond basic Human Resource hiring laws for recruiting, hiring, evaluating and promoting established or potential team members. It also emphasizes the role of organizational culture in creating your most important asset: your team. This is recommended not just for HR professionals, but anyone who is or hopes to be involved in the hiring decision. In this workshop, participants will:

  • Self-reflect on previous hiring situations that provided opportunities for growth.
  • Reflect upon the role organizational culture plays in selecting appropriate applicants.
  • Discuss critical success factors and performance standards required for the position.
  • Explore the use of an interview tool that minimizes risk and provides insight into a potential employee’s level of emotional intelligence, culture fit and competence.
  • Develop next steps to anchor learning & implement change.

Pre-work should be completed prior to the workshop in order to maximize learning. It is located in a Google folder link found in the Online Event Page, accessible after registration.

Who should attend: Individual Contributors, Emerging Managers, and Managers.

This workshop is one of ten workshops in the Mindful Manager Program.
