Join us for an inspiring MLK Day lecture honoring Dr. King's legacy through the power of STEM!
Student With Purpose and Teaching With Purpose invite students, families, and educators to a morning with Dr. Lonnie Johnson—former NASA engineer, inventor of the Super Soaker, National Inventors Hall of Fame inductee, and clean energy pioneer with over 100 patents.
Dr. Johnson's journey from segregated Alabama to working on NASA's Galileo and Cassini missions embodies the spirit of perseverance and excellence that Dr. King championed. Now leading groundbreaking clean energy research through JTEC Energy and Johnson Energy Storage, Dr. Johnson continues to break barriers and inspire the next generation.
