Description

Volunteer with Repair The World at the Community Kitchen and Pantry of West Harlem on January 18th.

The Community Kitchen and Pantry of West Harlem is an initiative of the Food Bank of New York City, with the mission of ending hunger by organizing food, information and support for community survival, empowerment, and dignity. The full-service soup kitchen and food pantry helps provide more than 100,000 free meals each month.

Volunteers will help stock and organize the pantry, greet clients, and assist clients in selecting their choices from the pantry. Closed toed shoes & shirts with sleeves are required for all projects, longer pants are recommended.

Basic Spanish knowledge not necessary, but encouraged!

Ages 18+
