Event description

Description

As part of our St. Paul Jewish Community Planning Priority to Inspire Giving by creating meaningful opportunities to give time, talent and tzedakah, Federation is hosting Mitzvah Crawls at our beneficiary agencies throughout the year. These visits will include a volunteer opportunity and a chance to learn about the important work we support as a community.

Our first Mitzvah Crawl is at Hillel on Friday, March 2. Our group will make Shabbat dinner for students and learn about the great activities for Jewish students on campus. See first-hand your dollars at work.

We’re looking for an intergenerational group of 15 people to help prepare dinner, and then stay to enjoy the Shabbat service and meal with the students if you wish:

People ages:

  • 35 and under
  • 36-45
  • 46 and older

Please sign up today!

The first five people to sign up in each age category will participate. We will collect the names of additional people interested for future Mitzvah Crawls at Hillel and our other beneficiary agencies.

Please arrive at 4:15 p.m. to prep for dinner at 6:15 p.m. You are welcome to stay and enjoy dinner with the students at 6:15. If you stay for the service and dinner, the evening will end around 7:15 p.m.

Look for updates for the next Crawl. Or, contact Judy Sharken Simon at jsharkensimon@stpaulfed.org.
