2-Day national level training focusing on Mitigation Best Practices

About this Event

Mitigation Best Practices training concentrates on science, methods, and tools to engage communities/residents, eliminate ineffective but common practices, and get community fire adaptation actions accomplished on the ground. This national level 2-day training is for current or future mitigation specialists, wildfire program leads and others who work with communities/residents to get mitigation done and focuses on federal, state, county, community, and non-profit practitioners.

This training is intended for Mitigation Specialists, Wildfire Program leads and individuals interested in learning more about mitigation practices.

PLEASE NOTE - all February 27-28, 2020 CMAT training participants must take the Mitigation Best Practices Training.
