Description

Mobilize. Unite. Empower.

Recovery isn't just a possibility. It's a reality.

Recovery is a process that may involve a number of tools and resources, but the end goal is always to bring back the wholeness of the individual and family that has been harmed by addictions. For some, recovery may be achieved through detoxification and clinical treatment. For others, recovery began with a spiritual experience or is supported by other people who have lived experience overcoming a substance use disorder themselves.

Come celebrate NATIONAL RECOVERY MONTH by walking in support of individuals, families and commnities in recovery from alcohol and chemical dependency. WHEN: Saturday, September 23, 2017. Help raise awareness on substance use disorder and put a new face to recovery. No longer is it a hidden disease that an individual or a family has be in hiding andsuffer with along.

12:00 pm- Walk Begins
01:00 pm- Educational Persenters

Educational Groups will give ongoing presentation throughout the event. Please come join us as we put a new "face on recovery". Help us throw out the lifeline to those that have been suffering in silence.
