Event description

Description

The Missouri Section of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynegologists will be holding our first Advocacy Day in Jefferson City on February 6, 2019. The Missouri ACOG Advocacy Day is intended to increase awareness of the political process for OB/GYNs in practice, residency or medical school. The event provides attendees with effective techniques for advocating for their patients and practice.

This event will focus on why advocacy is important, identifying and being provided an update on the legislative priorities of Missouri ACOG, as well as an opportunity to talk with your legislators about these priorities.

(HOME addresses are required in the registration form so we can book meetings with your legislators.)

Tentative Agenda:

9 a.m. - Registration and light breakfast

10 a.m. - Introduction on House Floor

10:30 a.m. - Briefing on legislative priorities

11 a.m. - Meetings with legislators will begin at this time

Noon - Lunch will be available between meetings beginning at this time

3 p.m. - Adjourn
