  • Food & Drink

  • Live Auction - Watch Facebook for a preview of items that will be available....we'll have our sought-after NFR package and several other big ticket items!

  • Live Rodeo Action from the Chick Pit - now's your time to put all of your new-found Rodeo knowledge to use! Kick back in our VIP seating (the Chick Pit) with a drink to watch our Rodeo Cowboys in action during the PRCA Rodeo.

  • Cowgirl Style - Come wearing your support. Order your favorite Chicks n Chaps tee-shirt or tank at https://order.universitytees.com/bird_banks/35603/signups/new.

What is Chicks 'n Chaps and where does the money go?

This event began in Missoula 11 years ago as a way to bring local women together to raise money that would stay in the local community for breast cancer patients. The founding members were passionate about the sport of Rodeo and what it means to our Montana heritage. In less than 10 years different Chicks n Chaps organizations across the country have raised over $1 Million dollars. All proceeds raised at this event stay in the Missoula community.

Who should come to this event?

YOU! Do you know a lot about rodeo? Do you know NOTHING about rodeo? That's fine! The goal of our event is to raise money for women with breast cancer and have some fun while doing it. Whether you know everything about the sport or have never set foot in an arena we are sure you'll have a great time. We want you to connect with other women, learn about the sport, hang out with the cowboys and help us raise money!

What is a Rodeo Clinic and will there be live animals?

The Signature Rodeo Clinic event allows for an enjoyable environment to learn about the sport of rodeo and a fun evening leading up to the rodeo itself. It is a chance to get out into the dirt to learn about the different events with local cowboys. We will be located near the rodeo holding pens, but there are not any live animals involved in our event.

When should I arrive?

Clinic attendees should arrive as close to 3:00 p.m. as possible to grab a drink, peruse the Silent Auction items, and be ready for the clinic. Family members can arrive at 5:30 p.m. and stay through the Rodeo.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

We've secured VIP parking again this year adjacent to our event area. No need to deal with the chaos of Fair Parking!

What do I wear to the event?

Dress for comfort. The Clinic takes place in the arena so boots are best, or any shoe you don't mind getting a bit dirty. Most girls leave the heels at home and wear jeans and boots! It's generally warm, but the August evenings can get chilly, so layers are a good idea. We do not recommend wearing flip flops as you will be in the dirt.

To purchase your custom Chicks n Chaps tee-shirt or tank go to https://order.universitytees.com/bird_banks/35603/signups/new. You will receive your items before the event so you can show up in style!

What do I bring?

1. ID if you'd like to visit the 8-Second Saloon
2. Cash or Card so you can participate in the auctions and purchase additional beverages
3. Anything to help beat the heat; hat, sunscreen, sungalsses, etc.

P.S. Please remember to plan for a designated driver.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

Email MissoulaCNC@gmail.com with any event questions!

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, we can check your mobile ticket if you prefer, but you will either need a printed version or a mobile version to verify your registration before entering.

How much does it cost?

$40.00 for Chicks and $10 for family members.
