Event description

NWYG is heading to Nashville! From July 21-27 2018, we are putting our faith into action by working with City Service mission in Nashville, TN. If you are a current middle or high schooler, this trip is for you! Register today, and then get with Casey to finalize your spot. We can't wait to see what's going to happen in the lives of our teens this July!

A few reminders before you register (please read everything):

Reason: The focus of this trip is to bring the gospel to life by serving the community of Nashville, Tennessee. While we will have a fantastic time, the primary goal of this trip is service. Given the grown-up nature of this trip, we ask each parent or guardian to prayerfully consider this opportunity with their teen before choosing to register.

Cost: This trip is primarily fundraised. Each attendee is required to raise $400, with a small portion coming directly from each participant. After registering here, get with Casey by phone or in person to finalize a plan for raising your money and to solidify your spot on the trip.

Departure: Meet at Northwest on Saturday, July 21 at 8:30 am.

Check-in: You will need to visit check-in inside the Lobby to let us know you've arrived and to find out if there are any other forms or payments we still need from you.

What to bring: A suggested packing list will be provided prior to the trip.

NW Youth Participant Covenant: Each attendee must be willing to agree with each of these statements in order to attend. Parents/Guardians, read over each of these with your teen as you prayerfully consider the opportunity.

  1. I will act in ways that bring glory to God and show love to others.
  2. I will put others before myself as I serve.
  3. I will treat each other participant with love and kindness no matter what.
  4. I will obey all instructions from NW Chaperones/CSM staff.
  5. I understand that illegal substances or behaviors will not be tolerated.

Disciplinary Action Plan

Parents and guardians, it is vital that you know and agree to this policy before registering. Once registered, each individual and family is responsible for understanding and abiding by this disciplinary action plan.

Any illegal activity, possession/use of drugs, alcohol, or weapons, sexual activity, or relentless disrespect for authority will be cause for immediate dismissal.
In this case, it is the parents’ responsibility to provide a way home for the teen. Participation in future opportunities provided by the NWYG will be discussed with parents, teen, and Youth staff as soon as possible after returning from the Youth event.

3 Steps (when acting outside the NWYG Guidelines)

  1. Verbal Warning (by an adult/chaperone)
  2. Limited Privileges (must remain with an adult, notification of behavior given to Parents/Guardians)
  3. Going Home (see above)
