Walkable, age-friendly, mixed-income and resilient, "Missing Middle Housing" refers to the range of multi-unit or clustered housing types that can help meet the demand for walkable urban living. This type of compatible, neighborhood-friendly development can play a key part in addressing the crisis of affordable, quality housing now facing Lane County.
PLEASE JOIN US for the 2017 AIA-SWO Design Excellence Lecture--presented by AARP Oregon, the Eugene Association of Realtors and several supporting partners--with Daniel Parolek, AIA. Parolek coined the term "Missing Middle Housing" in 2010. He is a national leader in architecture, design, and urban planning—specifically in the creation of livable, sustainable communities and buildings that reinforce them.
