A well respected deacon with a dark and troubled past hits the lottery and his whole world quickly begins to unravel. He falls out with family, and the friends he held near and dear turn on him. As his world falls apart, his eldest daughter tries to put hers together, while attempting to navigate womanhood using the scewed lens she aquired while growing up in a dysfunctional and abusive family. Will she go on to make the mistakes of her father by physically and verbally abusing her own husband, or will a generational curse be broken? Will her father be able to overcome the crabs in his barrel? Or will he be dragged back down into his old way of life?
Because domestic violence is an issue that appears in the play, Brown Soul Productions is proud to partner with NW Family Life, an organization that educates and assists individuals & families in finding hope and healing when facing the pain of domestic violence.
