The goal of the conference is to bring together followers of Jesus from diverse backgrounds, theologies, denominations, and traditions. To promote dialogue, and friendship between these various groups. To provide an atmosphere of learning and understanding. To provide an array of different theological perspectives in which participants can engage with in respectful ways without necessarily agreeing with it. We want to promote unity and friendship among Christians. And provide a space for Christians of various denominations to befriend other Christians from traditions other than their own.The conference will host diverse speakers, Theologians, Pastors, and Missionaries from Eastern Orthodox, Roman Catholic, Nazerene, and Southern Baptists backgrounds. While the conference is primarily for those within the Christian faith it is also welcome to those outside of the faith of Jesus. Misfits Theology Camp is brought to you by the Misfits Theology Club, a blog comprised of diverse followers of Jesus seeking to love one another as Christ has loved us.
