Description

Lend a helping hand to restore Phoenix's historic Miracle Mile along McDowell Road to its former glory! November 4th from 7:30AM to 11:00AM we're hosting the Miracle Mile Fall Cleanup where you'll have the opportunity to strengthen this community by gardening, trash picking, community building and more along McDowell Road from 10th Street to State Route 51. Check-in will take place 7:00-7:30AM at the Trellis office located at 1405 E. McDowell Road. See you there!


All volunteers are invited to the community Fall Festival celebration to follow on Sunday, November 5th 11:00AM-3:00PM at the McDowell Market located at 1736 E McDowell Rd. It is free to attend, with family friendly food, music, games, workshops, fun, & more!

FAQs

Are there age requirments to attend?

No, but as volunteers may run into potentially dangerous litter like broken glass, the cleanup might not be appropriate for children under the age of 10. All children must be supervised by parents.


What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Parking will be available on street near the Trellis location as well as at the lots located at: 1521 E McDowell Road, 1536 E McDowell Road, 1629 E McDowell Road, 1632 E McDowell Road.

What can I bring into the event?

Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and closed toed shoes! It would be a good idea to bring sun screen, a hat, and a water bottle. We'll provide tools, gloves, masks, litter pickers, and bags, but feel free to bring any other supplies if you'd like to use them.
