Ticket types

Please choose the ticket type that’s right for you. This event is 100% free. Everyone is welcome.

  1. Free registration
  2. Registration plus donation: Sign up and make a much-appreciated donation to help offset event costs, especially the cost of buses and transportation from Greater MN.

Bus/van transportation from Greater MN — Coach buses routes are being coordinated from multiple locations, including Austin, Houston, Montevideo, Bemidji and Duluth. You can reserve a spot on your preferred route when you register with any ticket type. Bus Captains will follow up with you prior to the event.

Parking/Transit — Parking (both free and low cost) and metro transit information will be in your confirmation email plus the event packet that we'll email to you 7-10 days prior to the event.

Additional Information — Organizers will distribute schedules, transportation options, policy highlights, rally speakers and other info to registrants in advance of Water Action Day. Your event packet will arrive via email 7-10 days prior to the event.

* Legislative meetings — Our team will schedule small group constituent meetings with legislators (House and Senate) to occur during the day. Participation in these meetings is highly encouraged for all Water Action Day attendees. (We provide ample support, so they're far easier than people think they'll be.)

FAQs

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? Nah, skip the paper. We'll sign you in electronically when you arrive. It's 2019!

I'm a teacher and would like to bring my students. What should I do? Contact us at WaterActionDay@gmail.com and we'll put you in touch with our youth organizer (Amanda). She'll get you all set up.

I'd like to register a group. What should we do? Contact us at WaterActionDay@gmail.com and we'll put you in touch with our registration organizer (Emma). She'll get you all set up.

I've never met with a legislator. Will experts be able to assist me? You bet! Attendees can attend "Legislative Meeting 101" trainings throughout the day plus briefings on our top policy priorities. Expert staff will also be available to attend meetings with you and others from your district, if you wish. Trust us: it's easier than you think, and we'll be with you all the way.

Can I contact an organizer with questions? Sure. Contact us at WaterActionDay@gmail.com

I think an after-party would make this whole day more fun. That wasn't a question...but we agree with you. Details to come...but there will be beer! After all, without clean water we can't have great beer.
