Free Data Training from the Minnesota Population Center! Register here for our NHGIS workshop.
The Minnesota Population Center is one of the world's leading developers of demographic data resources. We provide population data to thousands of researchers, policymakers, teachers, and students. All MPC data are available over the internet at no cost. See ipums.org for details on our data projects.
The NHGIS project contains aggregate U.S. census data and GIS-compatible boundary files that date between 1790 and 2014.
Through the NHGIS Data Finder, users may: Filter and sort through thousands of available tables and boundary files, and select and download multiple tables and boundary files, for different geographic levels and from different years, all in one request. No experience required.
