Docker Fundamentals & Enterprise Operations Training - 4 Day Course

The official Docker curriculum focused on learning by doing with extensive hands-on labs, enterprise-focused scenarios, and practical examples. What you'll learn

The Docker Fundamentals & Enterprise Operations course includes the full Docker for Enterprise Operations course as well as the prerequisite Docker Fundamentals course run back to back in a single intensive training experience.

In the Docker Fundamentals training course, students will learn the foundational concepts and practices of containerization on a single Docker node. They’ll also gain an understand basic container orchestration and how to scale Docker across multiple nodes in a simple swarm cluster.

Docker for Enterprise Operations is a role-based course is designed for Docker Operations teams to accelerate their Docker journey in the enterprise. Students will learn the many advanced features of Docker EE and how to apply them at scale with enterprise workloads.

The class includes lecture, hands-on labs, and discussion with certified Docker instructors.

Docker, Inc. will provide trainees with an official certificate of completion at the end of the training. A take-home copy of the training material will also be provided.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What do I need to bring to the course?

Students will need to bring their own laptop computer with SSH access (MacOS and most Linux distros have this by default; on Windows, you can get a client such as PuTTY). We will provide you with a server to SSH into for the exercises.

Please also make sure that you have a Github account and a Docker Hub account before the class as it will help to speed things up.

What's the refund policy?


Notice of cancellation must be received at least 15 days prior to the requested course date to be eligible for a full refund.

Notice of cancellation less than 15 days prior to the requested delivery date is eligible for a refund minus 25% of course costs (calculated from the original amount charged less 25% and any applicable processing fees) or can be rescheduled for another class at no additional charge (see rescheduling policy below for details).


Rescheduling requests will allow the attendee(s) to reschedule for another course date (1) time without penalty. If the attendee(s) needs to reschedule subsequent times, the attendee will owe an additional 25% of the course fee, per each time, the attendee(s) reschedules (calculated from the original amount charged). Rescheduling requests will allow the attendee(s) to take the course up to (1) calendar year from the original, registered course date or shall forfeit all course costs paid.


Vizuri reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the requested course for any reason deemed necessary. If the course has been canceled, Vizuri will notify the attendees within 15 days prior to the course start date. If the course has been canceled, Vizuri will issue a full refund of the registration fees within 3-5 business days. If the course has been rescheduled for another date, the attendee must let Vizuri know if they would prefer a refund or to reschedule the training for a future date. No rescheduling fees or processing fees will apply in this case.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No printed ticket is required. We will have a registration list of attendees when you arrive to check in. Please bring a form of ID.

Can I update my registration information?

Simply log-in to your Eventbrite account that was used to make your registration. You can update your registration information from there.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

In the event that you cannot attend the training and you wish to transfer your registration to a colleague, please contact docker@vizuri.com with the full name, email and phone number for whom will be taking over your registration. There will be no fee to do this.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Please contact docker@vizuri.com prior to the start of the class if you would like to transfer your registration to another individual. The name on the registration needs to match that of the attendee.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There should be plenty of parking available at the training facility.

If you are flying in, the training facility is roughly 7 miles from Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport. Several hotels (see above) have a shuttle service to Knowledge Transfer Training Center.
