Join GRAPHISOFT to Meet Other ARCHICAD Users in your Area!

Our User Group is a place to meet, exchange ideas, ask questions, and share our accomplishments with ARCHICAD and related BIM apps. We present projects, share tips and tricks, and provide the opportunity to network with other ARCHICAD users.

At this session, your local GRAPHISOFT team will be on-hand to answer questions and give you a first-hand look at all the innovative ways you can use ARCHICAD 20 and BIMx PRO.

Attend this User Group to:

  • Find the software management strategy that best suits your firm
  • Check out the great features in ARCHICAD 20 and see how you can access BIM information to create stellar presentations with BIMx PRO
  • Discover best practices in rolling out new versions, like ARCHICAD 20
  • Take advantage of resources available to the ARCHICAD community
  • Meet and collaborate with your local GRAPHISOFT Team and other ARCHICAD users in your area

Refreshments will be served!

About your Presenter(s)

Yanni Alexakis, Product Manager, GRAPHISOFT

Yanni Alexakis received his Degree in Architectural Engineering in Thessaloniki, Greece in 1990 and then became the youngest registered architect in Greece at the age of 23. Being a self-professed “computer geek” since his early college years, in 1993, Yanni was hired to assist in the development of tools of the trade.

Yanni worked in almost every phase of several projects while in Europe, developing techniques to incorporate multiple aspects of intelligence into building models. However, in 1998, he moved permanently to the United States where he has continued to push for the adaptation of new technologies.

In 2005, Yanni settled in Las Vegas, Nevada, as Director of Design & Technology for Rhodes Homes, developing a pioneering process for designing and manufacturing homes. At the end of 2006, he joined Lucchesi Galati to guide the technological advances for the firm that designed the first LEED Platinum building in Southern Nevada.  In 2011, Yanni assumed the duties of Product Manager for GRAPHISOFT North America. In this role, he works as a liaison between the ARCHICAD development team and architects and manages the Technical Support, Product Development and BIM Adoptions Services teams in the US and Canada.

Adam Rasmussen, GSNA Authorized Agent, Minnesota

Adam Rasmussen graduated from the University of Minnesota, College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture and minor in Business Management. Shortly after, Adam started using ARCHICAD while working for Wilkus Architects where he designed and documented numerous commercial buildings including Chipotle Mexican Grill and Caribou Coffee. On top of designing, Adam is passionate about developing streamlined office BIM standards and templates as well as training others on BIM and design software. Most recently, Adam took on the role of Minnesota’s GRAPHISOFT Authorized Agent and launched BIMped.
