Mining for Gold: Finding Publishable Work in Your Personal Journals
Event Information
About this event
Is there any market value to your personal writings? Would you need to alter the tone or language to make writing from your soul marketable?
You will learn techniques for systematically reviewing your body of writing and “mining for gold.” You might find pieces ready to submit to journals or lines that can be used to spur more writing.
Bring one paragraph (250 words) to get feedback on. We may get to workshop some participants’ paragraphs, depending on class size.
SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE FOR BIPOC AND SINGLE MOTHERS. EMAIL ORIGINALPRINT@GMAIL.COM TO ASK FOR A DISCOUNT.
