Hello and welcome!
We're very excited to announce the Mini Maker Faire Melbourne to be held on:
When: Saturday, January 14th 2012, from 10am until 4pm.
Where: "The Atrium" at 27 John Street at Swinburne University of Technology, Hawthorn Campus.
Address: 467 Burwood Road, Hawthorn, VIC 3122.
This event is being brought to you by a wonderful cast of volunteers and contributing organisations, coordinated by the members of Connected Community Hackerspace (CCHS).
If you got to this Eventbrite site from a source other than the official event website, please check it out for further information and regular status updates regarding the event:
The event is open to all ages, and we welcome anyone to attend. We'd love to see families attend, and there will be activities for children from 3 upwards.
Tickets are free for attendees but we've limited the numbers so you'll need to register your ticket quickly to secure your place.
Thanks for supporting the first Maker Faire in Australasia: it should be a fantastic day to remember and one not to be missed.
We look forward to seeing you there on the day!
Thanks from all of us on the Mini Maker Faire Melbourne Team.
When & Where
Connected Community Hackerspace
The Connected Community Hackerspace provides an environment and equipment to support and encourage cross-discipline project development, collaboration and education. The disciplines include computer software, electronics, mechatronics and broad science and engineering skills.
Collaboration occurs both within the organization and with other like-minded organizations in the technical community. This all occurs within the context of predominately open-source hardware and software licensing and standards. The primary goals are for members to learn and have fun.
