Do I need my own Minecraft?

Having a copy of Minecraft is welcomed. We plan to subsidize participant without a copy to enable access for the duration of the challenge

Can I join in remotely?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You must make amendments with your team as joining remotely means that you will not be able to join in your teams Minecraft world with our current setup. You will miss out on freebies we will giveaway on the day off, it is wise for you to ask your team to deliver the freebies to you.

Question 3

Do I need a powerful computer?

Accepted Answer

Yes and No. Yes your team will need one person with a powerful computer to host the rest of the members. So you personally may not need to have a powerful computer unless you intend to become the host in the team.

Question 4

What can I do now?

Accepted Answer

You can start looking for team members. Brush up of your childhood Minecraft knowledge and explore the mods (once modlist is refined) before the event. We will have resource to get you going regarding fusion energy so you can hit the ground running for the event.

Question 5

What if I don't have 5 people for my team?

Accepted Answer

We recommend the 5 person team to reflect the key aspects of the challenge that will be judged for the event. However, it is not essential to have a complete team of 5  as along as you're up for the task and have fun. Good Luck!

Do each member sign up seperately?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Everyone has to sign up so that we can take note of the amount of food and freebies needed.
