Local college access program and non-profit organization, Minds Matter Detroit, will be hosting its 2nd Annual Career Day. Career Day is designed to place working professionals in the room with motivated high school students. In a panel format, students will attend three small group discussions with professionals on the following career industries:
- Art & Design
- Business & Entrepreneurship
- Education
- Health Care & Medicine
- Law
- Policy & Politics
- Technology & Engineering
Panelists will provide insight into their personal educational and career journeys. Students learn about exciting career paths and network with industry professionals!
Check-in will be held from 11:00 - 11:30 am, with the event starting promptly at 11:30 am.
This event is intended for high school students only. The event is free but registration is required. Students AND their guest(s) must register.

About the organizer
Minds Matter Detroit is a non-profit organization and a chapter of a national college access program for high-achieving high school students from low-income families. Our three-year program provides students with individualized mentor support, group academic instruction, and summer enrichment programs. All at no cost to the students or their families. Our goal is to assist Detroit students to gain acceptance into top-tier universities and ensure they have the tools to succeed while there.
