In this Institute, you will learn how to collaboratively plan and implement a MindQuest21 Project Based Learning by,
Developing a common vocabulary as you work with your team.
Observing and assessing your MindQuest21 PBL trainer as a “facilitator”.
Identifying characteristics of 21st Century deeper learners.
Engaging in collaborative design thinking with constructive two-way feedback.
Aligning your PBL unit with the standards and the five essential 21st century deeper learning skills.
Developing your competencies as a collaborative communicator and a creative and critical thinker who is knowledgeable about PBL and ready to lead applications in your classroom, school or district.
Knowing how you can create whole school change through the New Maker School model.
After three high energy interactive and engaging workdays, you and your team will leave with
A fully designed Project-Based-Learning unit ready for students.
A PBL “plan-do-assess" model with a common vocabulary, knowledge, and skills to design additional PBL units.
Two documents ready to use PBL as an impetus to integrate 21st century deeper learning competencies across your school's curriculum for every student.

Are there requirements to enter the event?
You must be a professional educator working in a PreK-12 school. Because PBL is best planned in teams, we urge you to come with a team so you can learn how we integrate collaboration in the whole school model. Indiviuduals are welcome.

What's the refund policy?
Refunds incur $30.00 fee prior to July 25, 2017. No refunds will be given after July 25, 2017. You may transfer your registration to another name at any time without charge.
