Event description
In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, join us for a free screening of the academy award nominated documentary, Minding the Gap.

About this Event

In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, join Womankind for a free screening of Minding the Gap, a documentary by Bing Liu. Minding the Gap features over a decade of footage from the lives of three young skateboarders. These young men navigate the complexities of violence, trauma, family, and masculinity. Minding the Gap is both brutal and compassionate.

Stay after the screening to participate in a community conversation that asks us to reflect on the dynamics of violence and trauma in our own lives and communities.

Please RSVP as the Celeste Bartos theater has limited capacity.
