Have you been feeling:

If so, this 4-weekk class may be just what you need to bring you back to the present moment, and back to a healthier you.

You may be aware of mindfulness meditation as it’s now in the mainstream, from the grocery store stands displaying TIME Magazine's special MINDFULNESS REVOLUTION edition; to watching it on TV via Anderson Cooper on 60 Minutes, or Dan Harris from Good Morning America talking about his experience in finding meditation. Perhaps a family member, friend or doctor suggest you explore meditation to help you with (insert your worries or conditions here).

There are so many great reasons to meditate that speak to well-being-- strengthening your body, mind and heart. Science has found a host of benefits that meditation brings, which include: lowering your stress response, improving emotional regulation, gaining focus and clarity, improving your immune system, decreasing anxiety and depression, and increasing compassion. Knowing the reasons of why you want to meditate does not equate to doing it. You might feel more comfortable being guided into this endeavor with others who are in the same boat. Hence the need for this class: to start you on your meditation journey. Sign up NOW, as spots are limited.

In this 4-week course, you will

· Learn about mindfulness meditation: what it is, how to do it, and the attitudes cultivated.

· Experience different meditations such as; awareness of breath, body scan, loving kindness, and more.

· Plan your own meditation practice that fits your needs and life style.

· Become familiar with different sitting techniques, and where to get supplies.

· Know where mindfulness resources are to help you; in life and on-line.

* Be introduced to a community of beginning meditators, just like you!


A follow-up class will be offered in October to encourage continuous and communal meditating. Start today to find your community and begin a meditation practice. Remember that mindfulness is about meeting yourself exactly where you are, increasing your present moment awareness, accepting yourself, focusing on what really matters to you, and bringing kindness to your heart and the world.
